The June 2026 site newsletter went to over 400 subscribers and I received well over 300 "bounce" messages saying the email was undelivered – for a variety of reasons. Seventy newsletters were 'opened' and so must have been delivered and a couple of folk emailed me in response. Unfortunately without a massive trawl through the hundreds of bounces there is no way to tell which did or didn't get through.

There seems little point in continuing with the Bravenet distribution. I am going to revert to emailing information directly to folk who are still interested. I have a list of around 30 'core' subscribers, and have emailed them directly to check they still want 'in' and am asking the seventy of you who received the last email if you would like to receive updates, please email and ask me to include you.

We will take it from there.

[Incidentally one VERY positive response to the last mailing tantalisingly included a message: "Thorley Walters' godson told me that he has quite a few photos of Thorley relaxing on the set of the Lotus Eaters. I've asked him if he could scan them."
